The
Alzheimer’s Association annual Purple Gala is a time to celebrate and honor the
lives of people impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The evening
includes a reception and silent auction followed by a gourmet dinner, live
auction, entertainment, and after party with a live band. Proceeds from the
Gala raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

 Runners, joggers and walkers are invited to an evening 5K run followed by a night on the town like no other. The fitness-inspired “happy hour” begins with a timed 5K run and ends with a post-race Lifestyle Market of festive proportions! Primrose School of Maple Grove will be hosting its annual Spring Fling Charity Fundraiser and Family Carnival.  There will be plenty of fun games and activities for the kids, a silent auction for the adults and food and fun for all.  All money collected will be donated to the Primrose Childrens Foundation and a local chairity. Visit Maynard's Restaurant in Rogers from open to close Monday, Nov. 30 and 100% of food and beverage sales are donated to CROSS. Take out orders encouraged and included in donation.

For the second year in a row, dozens of local retailers will participate in an alternative campaign to Black Friday, known as Plaid Friday. Started five years ago in Oakland, Calif., Plaid Friday encourages consumers to put their holiday gift dollars back into the local economy by shopping at stores in their own communities. Give locally on Give to the Max Day by connecting with CROSS Services! Simply go to CROSSservices.org and click on the “donate” button.  

Starting Nov. 1, donations can be scheduled for Nov. 12 or make an online donation directly on Give to the Max Day. Funds raised stay local to support families and individuals facing hunger and housing concerns in the communities of Maple Grove, Rogers, Osseo, Corcoran, Dayton, and west Champlin.
